Studio Sessions

Studio sessions are more traditional with a blend of posed fabric photos, family photos and baby wrapped up and snugly! These are the luxury sessions as you get such a fun variety as we work together to make your vision come to life! If planning a session sounds overwhelming, let me handle the details and you can relax. A huge perk that clients really love is you do not have to bring any props or items! Only a sweet baby and your family! I have a large variety of wraps, blankets, hats, headbands, etc. to use for your session. Parent and sibling photos are included. Of course if you choose to not have family or sibling photos, no problem, please do not feel pressured to have them taken. If you choose this session and do not want family/sibling photos, that means you will have more setups/photos of baby only. I send helpful tips to a stress free session to help make things smooth! Session time is two hours. Studio sessions are held in Warrenton, MO by appointment only. Sessions are best taken within three weeks from baby's birthday.

The short & sweet newborn mini session is perfect to capture a few poses with your sweet baby! This session includes the fully stocked studio along with the stress free and relaxing session perks as the full newborn session, but it is a shorter session for baby only. This is a 45 minute session with three setups for baby only, the baby will be wrapped the entire session with a few different wraps and set changes to showcase this beautiful milestone. This does include detail shots such as hair, feet, hands, etc. Parent, sibling and posed fabric photos are NOT included within this session. I send helpful tips to a stress free session to help make things smooth! Studio sessions are held in Warrenton, MO by appointment only.

Lifestyle Sessions

Your lifestyle newborn session is held in your home and is about the connection and love that family members already have for the newest member of the family. These sessions are much different than studio session, these are more natural and less photos photos. It may be a big sibling peeking at the baby in the crib, snuggled up on your bed for snuggled up family photos or simple on the couch admiring the newest family member. If siblings are involved, I usually take care of those photos first so that they can go and play during the rest of the session or of they need breaks between photos that is no problem either. I love when family pets can join in too.

When it is time to focus on the baby only, these are usually done when the baby is sleepiest. I take photos of the baby swaddled or dressed in a simple sleeper or onesie in a way you’d find them naturally. I bring a basket, a few wraps and hats or headbands to your session for a few "posed" photos. Other photos of baby only are simple and natural of baby in their element. Concerned about if your house is good for a lifestyle session? Don’t be, reach out and let's chat! Do not worry about your house being a mess—you just had a baby! All you need to do to prepare is open the blinds/curtains to let in as much light as possible. I’ll quickly push things out of the area I’m shooting so that your home will appear to be spotless in the photos. Don’t be surprised if I move some furniture around, I’m just working to get the best light in your home. I’ll put it all back where it was!

A mix of wrapped photos of the baby using a blend of your home as your background and a few studio style items for a good variety. Natural light with windows and large doors is a must.

Your session includes a digital download album link of final edited photos with printing release.

No parent, sibling, posed fabric photos are included.

This does include detail shots such as hair, feet, hands, etc.

Milestone Sessions


Your child’s first year passes unbelievably fast. Before you know it, they’re crawling, then standing, then walking. These firsts and special moments sometimes pass so quickly, you don’t have a chance to capture them. Scheduling regular milestone photo sessions throughout your little one’s first year allows you to have images marking each major change. From holding their head up to sitting to standing and walking, these sessions are the perfect way to capture your baby’s growth and development throughout their first year.

Each family prefers different milestones to be photographed, some prefer newborn and one year. Some prefer a newborn session, 3, 6, 9 & 12 months and nothing is wrong here, it is just what fits best for your family. I personally love the below milestone sessions below! 



At this age, your baby should have the strength to hold their head up and push up with their arms. They will also have more expressive reactions and smile a little more, making this time the perfect opportunity to follow up your newborn photos with new images. You’ll be amazed at how much your child has changed in those four months!



A few months later, when your baby reaches eight months, they should be getting better at sitting up on their own and may be attempting a crawl, but haven’t taken off just yet. This stage of your little one’s life offers tons of new poses to capture and is the perfect time to book a photo session as it’s midway between their 4 month session and their first birthday.



Celebrate your child’s first birthday with a session to mark their shift into toddlerhood! Whether you choose to do a cake smash, birthday bath session or more of a standard portrait session, this is a memory you definitely want to capture. Your child will have mastered crawling and standing and may have even begun to take their first few toddling steps.


These sessions are by far my favorite sessions to capture those moments, you have a few options to capture these times. Both mini or full sessions available! For more information about session options for milestones, visit the portraits page. Note, anything that is available in the studio is open to use for your session. If you have a specific theme you would like to use for sessions, the client is responsible for providing those props. All cake smash cakes are provided by the client.
